About Reverse IP (PTR Records)
A reverse IP (PTR) record maps an IP address back to a domain name. Once configured, receiving mail servers can verify that your sending IP matches your sending domain — a key factor in building reputation and avoiding spam classification.
PTR records must be configured by the data center that owns the IP, on the authoritative DNS side. Users cannot set them directly. To set up a reverse IP, please open a ticket to request it from support and provide the target domain. We will complete the configuration within 1 business day.
